Auto Body Repairs

My son's car was towed and I didn't know it. Owner was very difficult to deal with and tried to charge me more than twice as much as allowed by law. Had to go to court to settle it.

I happened used Caine's before, but I was just wondering why all the good reviews are from people that doesn't live in Oxford. All the good reviews is from people from out of town. Do they make a difference in where you live? It's really hard to know if you want to use them or find someone else. I know you can't please everybody, but they had some terrible reviews.

I had my truck hood painted here for 450 dollars. Yes 450 dollars. To top it off it was in stage 1 paint. The cheapest, quickest paint job for them to do. I was told it would be done in two days which it took almost a week. I had several other things I wanted done but they never bothers to do any of it. I asked why they did it in stage 1 when I picked the truck up and thats when everything went from bad to worse. I was cussed at by the owner and told to just pay them there GD money and F this F that. I have filed a police report against the owner in case further incident occurs. From what I've read and heard from people he has done this to several people. I've also filed a BBB case against them and they replied telling me I was arrogant and was the one talking down to them. Told them that they were nice enough to try to put a brush guard on my truck which never happened. Luckily I have a eye witness to the situation to back my story up. They told the BBB people they were sorry they had to deal with such absurd allegations and assured them that they strive for customer satisfaction but within the same email called me arrogant. They repeatedly threw their 1.5 million dollar building in my face to top it off. I wish I would have read reviews before I took my truck here. Just a word of advice. Avoid this place at all costs.

Our car was towed to Caine's auto body on a Friday. When we found out it was at Caine's we went to pick it up on Saturday morning. My father, a vietnam vet, and I were treated like the lowest forms of life on the planet. The reason I mentioned my fathers years in the military is because when I was being yelled and cursed at I tried to mention this to the owner and he blew it off like "So What?"
I tried to be as nice as possible, even when the owner offered to "beat me all over Lafayette Co." What started as a simple business transaction ended up with me being "followed" down the highway at 80 mph. Why did this happen you ask? Because when I questioned the owner about his prices, which are 135% more than every tow service in town, instead of an honest answer he began to tell me "you and me are about to go toe to toe boy!"
This whole transaction could've been over and done with in a matter of 15 min but instead Patrick Caine, the owner, will be dealing w my poor reviews of his business for YEARS to come. Oh and if you think I'm the only one that has been a victim of The Caine's trashy behavior and service, just ask around town and do a google search. You'll find LOTS more!!

Both of my children attend the University of Mississippi, which is 9 hours away from home in Dallas, Texas. We have used Caines for towing twice, and repair 3 times. I cannot express fully how reputable and fairly priced this business is. The owners treat the college students with respect, and work is always completed on time and under budget.
