Today, Kris came to inspect my furnace and advise. Last week PGE came out to inspect the furnace and after checking it out, told me the motor had problems. After that, a nearby berkeley company came out to inspect it and, without even taking the motor out, told me a replacement motor was needed and it would probably be hard to find one. This was less than helpful, so i called you guys. Kris came out, removed the motor, inspected it, and found a broken capacitor and a loose screw that held the drum secure . After replacing the capacitor and securing the drum with a new screw, the furnace worked fine. During all this, Kris was professional, informative, and very helpful. HIs attention to detail was exemplary and he also went the extra mile by cleaning and dusting off nearby components and hardware. Kudos to Kris !!! stephen

I think the pricing is fair; not cheap, but fair. We've used Atlas for a number of years and find that we get good service.

Chris, the Technician, provided excellent service. He arrived within the assigned timeframe, was courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. He explained everything he was doing, and informed me as to what I needed to do to maintain my system in top operating order, get the best use out of my system, and preserve its expected lifetime. He answered all my questions in a clear and understandable manner, did not push any products or services, and was a pleasure to work with. When you do training for your new technicians, you should use Chris as a model of what to do and how to do it, as he was superb.

This is the second time we have used Atlas. Both times were very satisfactory. The pricing was fair and the workmen were very pleasant and competent as well as prompt. We originally got a recommendation for Atlas through Yelp and they were so good we got them again this time and we would get them again if we needed them.

I'm not sure what "body" means, but if it means comments, I always receive excellent service and the serviceman is always pleasant and comes within the promised time frame.

Without explanation, I don't know what to write in this space.

Air Conditioner Annual Check

We purchased air conditioning from Atlas 4 years ago and have had a service contract since then. The pricing was certainly satisfactory. Our current service contract expires at the end of 2010. We noticed in the new contract arrangements provided for our review that the cost was fairly high, so we're not sure if we'll be able to have a service contract in the future.
We just had our air conditioning unit serviced. Chris was the tech who came out to do the service and also go over the service contract. He answered a lot of questions and gave us sound advice. We would say that all service representatives for Atlas certainly represent the company well.

Atlas Heating provided excellent service at a reasonable, fair price.

Tec was on time. He was very friendly and went right to work. First he told us we need to change our filter. This is something we just forgot about after my Mom's death 1-1/2 yeaes ago.
He ran a few test and knew the problem right away. He had to change the thermostac (?)He re-placed and set it up and everything was ready to go.
